20 19
U M J National Islamic Academy.
INTRODUCTION:
The above named school was established on 15th
September 2019 with the primary aim of making Islamic education opportunity be
available for the children of both Tengbeh Town and Wilberforce communities.
The union of seven mosques located in these two communities came together to
establish this school.
ADDRESS OF THE
SCHOOL
The school is
located at 5B old Railway Line Tengbeh Town. The main instructional space is
located at the basement of Muklisina Mosque.
JUSTIFICATION
Having
done a needs assessment survey, we learnt that there is no reputable Islamic
primary and even secondary school in our community. Those that are available
are located far away from our community. To exonerate parent and pupils the
stress incurred to attend distance and overcrowded schools, we thought of fit
to own not just a preschool and a primary school but also a secondary school.
However,
the secondary school has not started yet. We pray that it would commence next
academic year by Allah’s grace. We realized that the Secondary school should
serve as a continuity for our children. Because if this level is not hastily
made available some or most of our children would soon find themselves in none
Islamic institutions. We pray that our initial efforts would not be wasted.
